Dear Miss Hewitt,
My wife and I read of your loss early Tuesday morning. As I drove out of Jerusalem through the hills to lead worship from the piano in a village called Mevaseret Tzion just west of the city, I was playing your final Bach solo cd and praying that Av haRachamim and Kol haNehama (Father of Mercies and of all Comfort) be very near to you. May His grace strengthen and carry you through. We so love and appreciate you and look forward to when you return to Israel. Sincerely, Martin & Norma Sarvis

dears Mrs. Hewitt,
last sunday me and my family travelled from Belgium to London to see your concert, you opened my eyes, en tought me how to play piano with love. Today I had my piano lesson and I have never played like this before. Thank you.. really. After the concert I wanted to ask you a question but you were signing cd's and we had to get back in Belgium on time. so, I'll ask it this way, How do you manage to play the last note perfectly, with whole your body en still not moving a bit ? I'm really jealous at that.
I'm sorry for your lost and I think it takes so much curriage to keep playing, but you're a true artist, .. so I understand. In june I will do my examen of piano, And when I play, I'll think of you
Greetings,
Lieselotte, 15 years.
I was totally inspired by your concert in the Festival Hall yesterday. I followed it with my own copy of Book 1 given to me by my piano teacher in 1958 when I was introduced to the 48, and which you kindly signed afterwards.
I have just read your sad news and feel very moved by your comments.

Dear Ms Hewitt,
My deepest condolences for your loss.
I remember standing right behind your mother and father at the ticket booth in Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto at the prizewinners' concert the day after you won the Bach International Competition. She was beaming with joy and am sure she still is as you are doing what you were meant to do.
Dear Angela,
Your mother was a sweetheart; I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. Her fortitude certainly lives on in you.

my 14yr old daughter came with me to your concert today at the Southbank in London. It was an experience beyond words! My daughter confessed that she thought she would be bored and is now eagerly awaiting book 2 in May. Thank you so much. x
Dear Ms Hewitt
Your festival Hall Bach concert today was a great experience. Many thanks for giving me such an unforgetteble afternoon.

Vous êtes magnifique, Angela!
Dear Angela
Many thanks for the unforgettable concert you played in Venice yesterday. Bach, in your hand, is fully colored and living as a breath. Your performance was exciting also for my daughter (10 years old) who, with us, has been brought at the top of the happiness.
My warmest thanks
Tommaso
