Dear Angela, I very much enjoyed your recital in Seoul few days ago. However I'm sure it was not your first recital in Seoul as written in the 'News' section, since you had a Bach-Beethoven recital in October of 2006 at Seoul Arts Center. (Of course I was there as well)

Dear Angela, You are right! Your performance with the Montreal Symphony's wonderful brass section this week was too short. Your audience yearned for more. What a delightfully illuminating experience, though, linking the Gabrieli with the Bach! Kent Nagano's vision, transmitted by your wonderful playing and that of the OSM brass players, offered a novel point of view of the culture and times of both Gabrieli and Bach. Even the massive Bruckner Symphony that followed seemed to fit the theme. It was an unusual but totally enriching evening, for sure. Now, if only you had played more! However, if leaving your audience panting for more is a good thing, then you definitely did a good thing here in Montreal this week. Please come again soon! One little P.S. -- your Bach DVD, which arrived in my mail box as a birthday gift in February, is an absolute treasure. It was well worth the wait. -- Margaret Hofmann

Dear Mrs. Hewitt, on Thursday, 13th of March, we listened to your concert in the Tonhalle in Zürich. We were facinated about your interpretation of "Bachs Wohltemperiertes Klavier, Teil II". It was a good idea to go from Freiburg (Germany) to Zürich. About 3 years ago, I switched on the radio and happened to hear you playing Bach. I had never heard your name before. A few days later I found myself in a CD-shop buying CDs interpretatet by you. But listening to you in a concert was most exciting. Hoping you will come to Freiburg one day, I send my best regards, sincerely yours Elisabeth Faber

I was searching on iTunes for Chopin Nocturne in F Minor, Op. 55, No. 1. After listening to many of the selections, I chose yours. It had just the right delicacy and sensitivity that I knew could be derived from this beautiful work.

Dear Ms. Hewitt, I thoroughly enjoyed your lectures on Bach Performance on the piano on DVD. It answered a lot of questions I've had and inspired me to approach Bach with more discipline. The footage of your hands on the piano was excellent. Thanks for sharing your insights in this way. My sympathy for your loss. Sincerely, Rich Vogel Boston

dear Angela, I wish to apologize not having been present at your bach performance in Florence a few weeks ago. I am never ill , but that week some nasty virus caught me. That was very unfortunate. the date was in my agenda already for a long time.... So, see you next time. In the meantime, I do enjoy all your records, includingn the last one i bought: the Chopin nocturnes, which you play so beautifully. best wishes from a very sunny little village nearby Lucca , ernest

Dear Miss Hewitt, I would like to respectfully put forward a suggestion—that in a forthcoming album of Beethoven sonatas you consider inclusion of the “Prometheus” Variations and Fugue Op. 35 (which you list as being part of your active repertoire). Its glad theme, the delightfully exciting treatment thereof and its overall form would seem to provide a nice contrast placed between two sonatas of perhaps more serious fare (Maybe it would take in spirit the place of the Op 7 and 28 Sonatas included on your previous cd’s). This apart from the more subjective reason that I (and I imagine many others) simply have a keen curiosity to hear your interpretation of this lovely, yet too-seldom performed work! Sincerely, Martin Sarvis Jerusalem
