Enchanted to enjoy your Mozart at piano driving the car and listening radio 3. Very happy to know that you stay very close to my Relais Parco Fiorito in Tuoro sul Trasimeno. I hope to meet you soon. My Wellness Center is honoured to have your presence. Compliments for your great performances!

I don't know to what to be most excited: 1/I got a personal reply from Angela Hewitt, when my long-shot expectation was merely an autographed picture; 2/You are a doing a Debussy recording--I thought I had every one worth having; 3/In February I have the opportunity to see both you and Bruce Hornsby (along with Keith Jarrett and Maurizio Pollini, my favorite pianists); 4/That someone of your prominence is such a nice person. If I could hear you play Schubert's 21st PS, my amazement would be finally utter and complete. best, Jon Augusta, GA

I loved to hear you in Coesfeld. What a pity that you felt "cut" after the concert - because you didn´t get the chance to get in contact with the audience. It´s a pity that the theatre is doing it all the time that way with the artists coming to our small town. May be I was dreaming - but I think I saw you crossing the marketplace. You went through the dark leaving the town. I would have enjoyed to say hello to you. Hope you feel welcome one more time at Coesfeld. Otherwise I will go on the trip to listen to you,

Angela, The concert at Jordan Hall was superb. It was a treat to be able to come up to Boston to hear it.

Dear Angela- Today, I heard on CBC Radio that you gave your first solo recital at the age of nine in Toronto. Tonight, we are going to celebrate my daughter passing Grade 6 Piano of the Royal Conservatory of Music. She is nine years old, and I will tell her the following story about your father. My great-grandfather was Frank Salmon, the Dean of Christ Church Cathedral, Ottawa, and I understand he persuaded your father to be the Choir Master. I wonder if he got a moving allowance to relocate from England? When I was nine years old, Godfrey gathered all the boys in Sunday school to audition for the choir. Your father suddenly stopped playing the piano half-way through the audition, looked at me, and said "do you enjoy playing hockey?". I said "absolutley" and he replied "then please go pursue your passion". My younger brother, on the other hand, went on to be a star soloist in the choir and continues to perform with Christ Church alumni. So my brother gained the gift of music, and I perfected my slap shot. I hope my daughter gains some insight from this anecdote. Here is to being nine in Ottawa! Wishing you continued in your career, Sean Caulfeild (older then nine) Sydney Caulfeild (just nine)

Dear Angela, Just to say thank you for such an enjoyable evening at Leigh on Tuesday (8th Nov) night. I was sat with my grandmother just behind the piano so we were convinced we had the best seats in the house! We met once at my (other) grandmother Beryl's house in Barnes and I also attended your masterclasses when I was studying at RAM. We didn't have tickets for the meal so dashed off afterwards, but had a lovely time. If it wasn't for local music enthusiasts putting on such events, and professional musicians giving time out of their busy schedules to come to small villages like Leigh, many local people would never get to enjoy live classical music unless they travelled to London. My very best wishes, Andrew

I just LOVE your recordings. I listen to them again and again. Right now I'm enjoying the Rameau and couldn't resist trying to see if I could communicate to you how beautiful they sound. Thanks!!!!!!
