Dear Ms Hewitt, Just a word to thank you for having opened my mind to glorious Bach. I have listened to "classical" music for 45 years and always thought Bach was good, but when I started listening to your recordings, I realized that he really is a genius. What a marvelous discovery so late in life. I now have all of your recordings. Your Granados and Chabrier are really exciting. (The Granados makes me want to dance all over the room.)Well, all of your recordings are genuinely wonderful. I am now waiting for the Rameau. You have given so many of us such joy that it is impossible to thank you. I know that you work endlessly, and with such high spirits too. If the work ever becomes more daunting please remember that what you give to the world is a gift so few people are ever granted. Perhaps that will give you a touch of extra joy in your life too. Sincerest regards, John Martell

Angela Great interview. You made my morning too (well, afternoon technically). These days I spend lots of time on the train and it's very rare for me to be at home for long on a Sunday. Seeing your post about the broadcast on one of the few days that I'm not travelling, and so could listen in, was a wonderful surprise. Speaking of trains, I once shared a carriage with a couple of dozen Italian kids so I can sort of imagine what 600 of them would sound like 😉 Yet again you're costing me a fortune ... I spent 53 minutes on the phone to St George's the other day booking tickets for your Bristol concerts. Not to worry, wouldn't miss them for the world, and they'll be much easier to get to than Alnwick was (can't believe that was almost a year ago!). See you soon I trust Take care Mark

I very much enjoyed hearing your interview with Michael Enright on The Sunday Edition. So many interesting ideas, so elequently expressed - and even some snippets of wonderful music! Not being a musician (but with several close friends who are pianists) its always most interesting for me to hear the kind of insight and analysis the pianists bring to the music which they are interpreting. I would love to hear one of your pre-show chat's - and discover the origin of the name, "Goldberg Variations!" Congratulations to you on all your superb work and sincere wishes for many successes in the future.

I saw the nice article on you in The Times. I'm more of a jazz music fan, but I bought an old LP of Bach organ music, and thought one, Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, had a musical "thread" running through it -- was I right? If so, what is it? Thanks.

Its my turn to say what a thrill it was to see you and the Queen on the front page of The Ottawa Citizen. I love reading your comments on your concerts and travels. Thank you for taking the time to do it for all your fans. Hope all goes well in 2007

Dear Angela: Congratulation for the OBE investiture, but from an aesthetics point of view, you don´t need it, because you are really THE QUEEN on the piano. Kisses from Venezuela, Rolando Navarro

Dear Ms. Hewitt, Glorious concert in New York. The Rameau was a wonderful surprise and the Beethoven very dramatic, more than compensating for the absense of Bach. I look forward to listening to your recordings of Beethoven and Rameau and can't wait to hear your performance of both books of the WTC next year.
