Thank you for a wonderful concert last night in Toronto RTH. Your interpretation of the works of 3 B's just showed us what a wonderful musician you really are. Listening to your CDs is wonderful but seeing you play live as well is the best treat of all!
My wife and I really enjoyed your performance this evening at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto. Thank you for bringing the beauty of your music back to Toronto again.
What do you think of Shostakovich's 24 preludes and fugues Op. 87, especially in comparison to Bach's WTC? Have you ever contemplated recording DSCH's 24?
Thank you so much, Angela, for letting me know the name of the encore you played at Carnegie Hall last evening (the giga from Partita No. 1). Congratulations on your debut in Stern Auditorium. Your performance was, as ever, a joy to hear and watch.
Hi Angela:
It was great to meet you two days ago in front of Shelly's restaurant on the 57th Street. You liked my small dog, Emily, a Jack Rusell Terrier... Do you remember? 🙂
I couldn't tell you how much I love your Bach.... I'm looking forward to seeing you and to hearing you to Carnegie Hall tomorrow!
Love,
Olivier
It was a great pleasure to hear and see Ms. Hewitt at SUNY Purchase earlier today. She was accompanied by the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and her performace of Bach was superb! She has just the perfect balance between respect for the music and the composer along with a fresh, vibrant interpretation of the music. She is a wonderful performer. This was one of the most memorable performaces I have seen in many years. Just perfect! Thank you so much Ms. Hewitt!
We met in Toronto at the IBF. Seems like such a short time ago. I hope I get to speak with you in Durham on January 30. I am looking forward to a very fine concert.
Best regards.

Sono Gabriella di Sacile e la ringrazio ancora dei due giorni passati con lei e con la sua meravigliosa interpretazione.
Un abbraccio e buona permanenza in Italia.

Angela,
I could listen to your recording 'Bach Arrangements' (from 2002) forever.
How can something be so heartbreakingly beautiful and uplifting at the same time?
I was never moved when listening to Bach until I heard you play it.
Thank you for sharing your gift of music with us all.
Very many thanks for all your diary entries, they make engrossing reading. If only more realised how hard life is for a classical musician.
Were the RAI Torino concerts broadcast live in Italy? We don't get to hear you that much on the CBC, maybe a few minutes clip from one of your CDs.
Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas and continued good fortune in 2010.

I have just returned home from the concert you gave in Turin. The spirituality, humanity and elegance of your Bach are really touching. It was a wonderful evening. Thank you very much!
