Dear Ms. Hewitt,
After repeated listenings of your baroque recordings (which I do daily) - your playing continues to inspire me to perfect my own playing - especially Bach. For that alone, I am deeply appreciative.
Being my favourite pianist (and not just because I too am from Ottawa:) - it also gives be great pleasure to continue to enlarge my already extensive Hewitt CD collection. I would also highly recommend to all pianists and music lovers your DVD Bach lecture-recital - extremely informative and insightful on all aspects of baroque keyboard performance and correct interpretive stye.
In closing Ms. Hewitt, I very much look forward to your forthcoming Ottawa concerts - and to thank you for the continued joy you bring to your audiences. I also wish you good health (I was just recently made aware of your sugery).
