Your concert (with 'conversazione') at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London last October was the highlight of my year. I loved the way you occasionally broke off the interview to illustrate various points of interpretation on the piano. I listen to your CDs on headphones all the time at work (essential to escape from the noise of an open-plan office), and the Goldbergs are my favourite: you bring out the dance rhythms and different voices so beautifully, especially Variation 24 in 9/8 time. This may be heresy, but I would just love to see an Irish dancer performing a slip jig to this piece! Thank you for all the joy that you give through your playing: not only is it technically impeccable, but your warmth and love of dance result in performances that are far above those of other pianists.
