I send you greetings from Kabul, Afganistan. I am here on a project with the World Food Programme. We have met on a couple of occasions in Guelph and more recently in Toronto (the Goldberg Quilt?). Just wanted to let you know that I have played your Bach CDs to Afghans here who have greeted the music with a stunned silence after hearing your playing of Jesu, Joy of Man's desiring. A typical comment was the music must have come from God. Thought you ought to know that your playing brings peace and tranquility to a very troubled part of the world.
