Congratulations Angela on winning Gramophone Artist of the Year!
My all-time favourite Bach piano pieces are from your 1987 Bach Piano Concerti. I went all the way to downtown Toronto and walked in the pouring rain to the CBC building just to buy that disc (later I found out it was available in the local HMV - d'oh!). Finally I could return the copy I had "borrowed" from the library and was now 3 years over due.
"Officer of the Order to the British Empire" - that sounds even better than "Gramophone Artist of the Year". I always thought your picture on the cover of the Bach Piano Concerti CD reminded me of Queen Elisabeth in the early 1950's.
