Thank you for WTC in NYC. This brought me back to music I loved as a young person. I only knew your work from a video clip I saw on television recently. It's so wonderful that the "endless staccato" hammering of Bach on the piano has been vanquished. Thanks for the expressive, judicious rubati, the feeling of joyful improvisation, along with the sheer technical achievement, unacademic ornamentation, organ-like doublings and sonority, where appropriate, etc., etc. A memorable evening (I only heard WTC I), despite distractions in Zankel.
