The Literary Week of the Petworth Festival officially kicks off with a very special collaboration between one of the world’s leading concert pianists, Angela Hewitt, and the Booker Prize-winning author, Julian Barnes. Angela will play music by Bach, Mozart, Messiaen and Schubert, and Julian will read from The Noise of Time and The Silence together with poetry and prose selected specially for the event.
