Dear Friends – In just over two weeks, the 21st Trasimeno Music Festival begins in beautiful Umbria!
Once again it promises to be a week filled with great music, wonderful artists, breathtaking venues, great food, and especially warm companionship.
I hope many of you will come!
Artists this year include Canadian violinist Kerson Leong, Italian cellist Enrico Bronzi, British author James Runcie, conductor and composer Sir John Rutter, members of the Orchestra of La Scala of Milan, the Orchestra da camera di Perugia, and two choirs from Umbria. I will be performing in seven of the nine events–as soloist, chamber musician, and conductor.

For those of you who can’t make it to Italy, other dates this summer include the Cheltenham Festival on July 8th, the Bregenz Festival on August 7/8, and my debut with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl on August 11th, That should be an experience!
The 2025-2026 season was incredibly busy but also very fulfilling.
