HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELA! Hope you have a wonderful day (and maybe get to take the day off). Rob
A brief note to say how much I am loving your new recording of the WTC. There are so many great performances of this work, but I don't know another one that lives and breathes in the same way as yours. I was interested to see you made it in the Jesus Christus Kirche in Berlin. So many of my favourite recordings have been made there: Kempff playing the Beethoven concerti with Leitner in the 1950s, Gilels playing the Brahms concerti with Jochum in the 1970s. That is fine company to keep and it is fantastic to add you to that list!
Please come to Hong Kong again soon. I missed it last time.
Dear Angela Hewitt,
I have loved your recordings for years now, as I loved hearing you play WTC II in New York. This morning as I took a long walk in the park here in NYC I listened on my iPod to your glorious Rameau CD. I feel I should finally take a moment to thank you for being who you are, and for bringing so much beauty and joy into the world through your playing and your personality. I love reading your blog.
Good luck on the Janacek!
Unfortunately, I can't make it to any of your live performances in the near future, but I am awaiting the CD of your Bach partitas in the mail. I am really looking forward to listening to them.
I don't know how you keep up with your schedule!
Dear Angela,
My wife and I met you this evening after your magnificent recital at the Cheltenham Festival. Very many thanks for a truly memorable evening.
We look forward to coming to the Trasimene festival with a party from Cheltenham next year and will be pleased to receive details in due course.
Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy your visit to Tunisia in your uncle's memory.
Best wishes,
Tony Mason,

Thank you for both recordings of The Well-Tempered Clavier.
We look forward to your concert at the Modlin Center in January 2010.
I am from Idaho and visited a friend in Seattle last week. We were discussing our favorite musicians, and he hinted that he "might" have heard your performance in Chicago. Needless to say, I threw my arms up in the air with jealousy screaming "That's not fair!!"
Then he told me he went to your lecture the hour before. You could only imagine my reaction to that statement.
Thank you for your inspiration. Due to your recordings, I have learned 3 preludes and fugues, and won't stop till I'm at 24. Thank you!
Dear Angela, PLEASE record MOZART.
I've just bought your CD of Couperin pieces after hearing one on Classic FM.What a beautiful touch! For the first time in years I've been inspired to sit down and learn something on the piano again so thanks very much. Do you plan to come to Scotland in the future?
