This morning as I took a long walk in the park here in NYC I listened on my iPod to your glorious Rameau CD. I feel I should finally take a moment to thank you for being who you are, and for bringing so much beauty and joy into the world through your playing and your personality. I love reading your blog.

I am from Idaho and visited a friend in Seattle last week. We were discussing our favorite musicians, and he hinted that he "might" have heard your performance in Chicago. Needless to say, I threw my arms up in the air with jealousy screaming "That's not fair!!"
Then he told me he went to your lecture the hour before. You could only imagine my reaction to that statement.
