Schubert, Liszt, Italian and English songs

Now a fixed event in the schedule of the Trasimeno Music Festival, the borgo of San Savino generously welcomes the festival audience to a free concert the night before the festival formally begins. In the intimate Piazza overlooking Lake Trasimeno, we present young artists, giving them a chance to share their talents. English tenor Bradley Smith will perform Schubert and English songs with the festival’s artistic director, Angela Hewitt, and also perform with Samuele Telari, a brilliant young accordionist from Spoleto, now living in Perugia. Samuele will show off his amazing skill in an arrangement of Liszt’s “La Campanella”. It’s a great occasion to meet up with our friends from around the world before all the excitement begins!
